The film 'Raka', starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, is one of the most anticipated movies. The first look at Allu Arjun's film generated significant buzz even before its premiere. On Saturday, at an event launching the Tamil film 'Batta' music, Atti and several other directors were present.

Filmmaker Sibi Chakravarty highly praised Atti's work and compared 'Raka' to the film 'Avatar'. Sibi noted: 'I have seen the visual effects of his films; he showed them to me. It doesn't seem to me that 'Avatar' has such visual effects. Everyone will understand what I mean in three days. The visual effects were exceptional.'

According to available information, the creators plan to release the first look at the film to celebrate Atti's 40th anniversary, which will take place on September 21, 2026.

One social media user reacted to the video, writing that no one expects 'Raka' to be equal to 'Avatar', and that the statement was made under emotional influence. They added that those who believe 'Raka' will be equal to 'Avatar' are mistaken.

Another user on X clarified that the director meant he had never seen such creatures before, even in the film 'Avatar', not that 'Raka' is better than 'Avatar'.

Yet another commentator stated that while actors or directors might say something, in the case of 'Raka', neither Atti nor the actors did. Nevertheless, they expressed confidence that Atti could achieve it, given that the Tamil audience knows his capabilities.

The creators of 'Raka' published a video on Saturday, hinting at the expectations for the film. The video included captions such as: 'Beyond what seemed possible. We dared to imagine. We dared to achieve. Raka — a global victory.'

Although it has been officially announced that Allu Arjun and Deepika will participate in the film, rumors suggest that Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrinal Thakur are also starring in the project. However, the casting of the other actresses has not been confirmed.

Despite the creators not having announced an official release date yet, rumors suggest that 'Raka' will be released in theaters in December 2027.

With the release of the trailer for 'Drishyam: The Conclusion,' viewers will once again face the difficulties in Vijay Salgaonkar's life, as the events of October 2 continue to haunt him. Zaideep Akhalat has appeared in the third part of the film, playing an officer from the Criminal Investigation Department. In the movie, he will be confronting Ajtai.

During the trailer presentation, when Zaideep was asked about Akshay Khanna, rumors arose that he was brought in to replace Akshay Khanna. Akshay Khanna previously played the role of IG Tarun Akhawat in 'Drishyam 2,' and it was initially planned that he would also appear in the third episode. However, it became known that he left the project due to issues related to his fee. Following this, Zaideep was cast.

Nevertheless, Zaideep emphasized that his role is not related to replacing Akshay. He stated that upon hearing the story, he did not assume that his character would replace Akshay. He noted that one story ends, and another character is introduced in its place, and he does not feel pressured to conform to the image of another hero. His character develops along its own trajectory.

According to media reports, Akshay Khanna declined to participate in 'Drishyam 3' because he demanded a fee of 21 crore after the success of the films 'Dhurandar' and 'Chawa.' It was also reported that he required a wig for his look. Since the creators disliked his demands, negotiations were unsuccessful, and Akshay left the film.

As for 'Drishyam 3' itself, the appearance of Zaideep's character impressed the public. Prakash Raja's participation is also announced in the film. The release of the picture is scheduled for October 2 of this year.
