Representatives of Tashkent Region and Anhui Province Discussed Investment Projects

According to the administration of Tashkent Region, Deputy Governor of Tashkent Region Zhakhongir Mamajonov met with Sun Yun, Deputy Governor of China's Anhui Province.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, investment, industrial interaction, and the implementation of joint projects.

Prospects for partnership were considered in areas such as the automotive industry, agricultural technologies, logistics, green energy, and modern technologies. The Uzbek side presented proposals for creating a multifunctional industrial park and a modern demonstration park for agricultural technologies in Tashkent Region. The issue of attracting Chinese companies to carry out new investment initiatives was also discussed.

Both sides agreed on holding regular business forums, B2B meetings, and mutual business visits, as well as further developing practical interaction between the regions.

The visit also included conferences dedicated to new economic sectors of Anhui Province, the activities of multinational corporations, industrial cooperation between Anhui, Hong Kong, and Macau, as well as trade and economic ties between Anhui, Côte d'Ivoire, and Uzbekistan.

Anhui Province is one of China's major industrial and innovation centers. Key industries of the province's economy include the automotive industry, new energy, high-tech manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and the production of modern equipment.

Delegation of Tashkent Region and Sinoma International Discuss Cooperation Projects in China

A delegation from the Tashkent Region, led by Governor Zoyir Mirzaev, conducted a working trip to China where prospects for cooperation with Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. were discussed in the fields of industrial mechanical engineering and construction material production. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent Region administration.

The meeting took place in Beijing on the first day of the visit. The main focus was on creating modern production capacities in the region, developing the construction materials industry, as well as technological modernization of enterprises and the implementation of advanced engineering solutions.

Sinoma International Engineering implements comprehensive projects for the cement and mining industries based on EPC and produces high-tech equipment for production lines, including crushers and rotary kilns. Furthermore, the company is involved in developing projects in renewable energy, environmental protection, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence-based management systems.

According to data presented at the meeting, Sinoma International has implemented over a thousand projects in more than 70 countries. In 2025, the company's revenue amounted to 73.27 billion US dollars, net profit reached 4.23 billion US dollars, and total assets reached 91.65 billion US dollars.

Following the negotiations, the Tashkent Region delegation studied the company's activities, its engineering developments, production technologies, high-tech equipment, and experience in implementing industrial projects. The parties agreed to jointly study promising projects, taking into account the industrial potential and investment opportunities of the Tashkent Region. It is planned that such initiatives will move to the stage of practical implementation, covering the production of building materials, industrial mechanical engineering, the introduction of modern technologies, and the creation of new production facilities.

Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Anh Tuan Tran, founder of the Vietnamese investment group ROX Group, on September 11, according to the president's press service.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed opportunities for developing mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing investment projects involving this company in Uzbekistan.

ROX Group, founded in 1996, is one of Vietnam's leading diversified investment groups. The company's activities cover sectors such as real estate, energy, banking, hospitality, and services.

Priority areas for cooperation were identified in Uzbekistan, including the development of modern urban and industrial infrastructure, renewable energy, geology, the financial sector, and tourism.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of current and new projects with the involvement of ROX Group based on an approved roadmap.
