The Uzbekistan football team suffered a 5-2 defeat against Hungary during the second friendly match of their European tour.
The game took place on September 19th at the Aramis sports hall. Uzbekistan started the match actively and scored the first goal, which was scored by Abror Akhmedzyanov in the sixth minute. However, one minute after this goal, Mate Kovac equalized the score.
In the second half of the first period, the Hungarian team took the initiative. In the 15th minute, Mate Janos Suchsak put the hosts ahead, and then Zoltan Salmash and Magyari Chaba increased the lead. At the beginning of the second half, Matyas Kaitar scored the fifth goal for Hungary.
Uzbekistan managed to respond with only one goal, scored by Behruz Samiev in the 39th minute. The final score of the match was 5-2 in favor of Hungary.
Thus, the teams exchanged victories in two friendly matches. In the first meeting, Uzbekistan won 1-0 thanks to a goal by Ilhomjon Khamroev.
After the games in Hungary, the Uzbekistan team will continue its European tour in the Netherlands. Two friendly matches against the Dutch national team are planned for September 21 and 22.
