Despite earning an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, one of the country's leading management institutions, a candidate has faced difficulties in finding employment. This Reddit user shared his experience, holding an MBA from IIM Kozhikode and three years of experience in data analysis.
He reported that he applied to over 250 vacancies but has yet to receive a single interview invitation. The situation caused him significant concern, prompting him to seek support from the public.
The user specified that he is currently employed at Genman but feels dissatisfied there and is making every effort to find a new position. In addition to applying through job portals, he also emailed various managers and HR specialists, but constant attempts have not yielded a significant response.
The candidate shared that he sent his resume to more than 250 positions. Although some of these applications were rejected outright, many others received no response whatsoever. His greatest disappointment was the lack of calls after so much effort. As soon as his story appeared on social media, other users began sharing their similar experiences.
One user mentioned having over eight years of experience and holding an MBA from a Tier-1 level college. He has also been trying to change jobs for over a year without success.
