The men's football tournament at the 2026 Asian Games will take place from September 15 to October 3 in the cities of Osaka, Toyota, Nagoya, and Kariya in Japan. It is worth noting that South Korea is the reigning champion.

Iran Learns Its Fate in the AFC Beach Football Asia Cup 2026

The path to victory in the AFC Beach Football Asia Cup in Thailand in 2026 was revealed after the draw held at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Twelve teams participated in the tournament, among which are the reigning champions of Iran.

The teams were divided into three groups. In Group A, the hosts Thailand will face three-time winners Japan, the 2006 Bahrain champions, and Iraq.

Iran, aiming for its fifth title, was placed in Group B, where it will play against Lebanon, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. Group C will unite the 2015 Oman champions with two-time champions the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan.

The winners and silver medalists of each group, as well as two teams that finished third with the best performance, will advance to the quarterfinals. This twelfth match will take place in the city of Pang Nga from November 18 to 28, 2026.
