The game took place at the Wave Stadium Kariya. Prior to this, Hossein Abdi's team had won against the UAE with a score of 3:1, starting their campaign. Meanwhile, China defeated North Korea with a score of 2:1 in Group B.

According to the schedule, Iran will face North Korea on Wednesday, and China will play against the UAE.

The men's football tournament at the 2026 Asian Games will take place from September 15 to October 3 in the cities of Osaka, Toyota, Nagoya, and Kariya in Japan. It is worth noting that South Korea is the reigning champion.

Iran Learns Its Fate in the AFC Beach Football Asia Cup 2026

The path to victory in the AFC Beach Football Asia Cup in Thailand in 2026 was revealed after the draw held at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Twelve teams participated in the tournament, among which are the reigning champions of Iran.
