The Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was on a trip to Karnataka, suffered from food poisoning; however, according to information provided by the senior leader and central minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prokhlad Joshi, his condition has completely normalized.
Prokhlad Joshi specified that due to the food poisoning, he experienced some weakness following vomiting, but now he feels perfectly fine.
It was planned that Amit Shah would participate in the opening ceremony of the new academic building of KLE Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Murusaviramath Medical College, as well as the KLE hospital with 1200 beds and the central medical research center in Gabbur, Hubli. However, he could not attend the event, which took place during the day. Local figures reported that before traveling to Delhi, he visited the campus in the evening.
Furthermore, Amit Shah's trip to the Belagavi district was canceled, where he was supposed to inaugurate the new headquarters of Shri Bireswar Cooperative Credit Society in Examba, Chikkodi taluk. Joshi noted in Examba that Shah should have arrived, but his health deteriorated due to food poisoning. He added that Anasaheb Jole (former BJP MP) invited him along with Shettar (Belagavi MP Jagdish Shettar) to the event, but only the two of them ultimately arrived.
Meanwhile, Amit Shah used the social media platform X to comment on the situation at Delhi University. He stated that Delhi University is not just an educational institution, but a place where students come from all corners of the country. In his opinion, the will expressed here reflects the sentiments of the youth of all India.
Shah emphasized that the brilliant victory of ABVP is a clear signal to those anti-national forces that seek to turn the youth power into a laboratory for conducting an anti-national agenda. He concluded that the youth of the country firmly stand on the ideology of 'Nation First,' and this is the most significant message of this mandate.
