Federal Home Minister Amit Shah fell ill with food poisoning during his visit to the state of Karnataka on Saturday. Because of this, he was unable to attend scheduled events in the cities of Hubballi and Belagavi, reported senior leader and Bharatiya Janata Party federal minister Parlad Joshi.
Later, Joshi clarified that Shah suffered from food poisoning, but he is now completely fine. He added that he experienced some weakness due to vomiting caused by the poisoning.
