Significant changes have occurred in the police department of Uttar Pradesh as the government has transferred 35 IPS officers. The list of transfers included new assignments for officers holding positions as DCP, SP, and senior police assistants.
IPS Officer Charu Nigam, who graduated in 2014, was transferred to the position of commander of the 47th Battalion of PAC in Ghaziabad. Previously, she held the post of Superintendent of Police in UP-112 in Lucknow. Her name had also previously appeared in transfer orders within the UP police force.
Among the transferred officials are Shravan Kumar Singh, transferred from DCP Kanpur Nagar to DCP Gautam Buddh Nagar; Pramod Kumar from DCP Varanasi Police Commissionerate to SP Cyber Headquarters in Lucknow. Ravi Shankar Nim moved from the post of DCP Gautam Buddh Nagar to the commander of the 2nd Battalion of SSF in Gorakhpur.
Other transfers include Atul Sharma II, who was transferred from DCP Agra to SP Intelligence Headquarters in Lucknow; Sonam Kumar transferred from DCP Agra to DCP Prayagraj. Ravindra Kumar moved from DCP Kanpur Nagar to DCP Agra, and Niraj Kumar Pandya moved from DCP Prayagraj to SP Police Headquarters in Prayagraj.
Mamta Rani Chaudhary was also transferred from DCP Lucknow to SP CID in Lucknow, Md. Irfan Ansari from SP Police Headquarters in Prayagraj to SP CID in Lucknow. Sad Mia Khan was transferred from DCP Gautam Buddh Nagar to DCP Agra, and Sayyad Ali Abbas from DCP Agra to DCP Gautam Buddh Nagar. Shruti Srivastava moved from the post of Deputy Director of Police Varanasi to the position of Deputy Director of Police in Prayagraj.
Vikram Dahiya was transferred from the post of Senior Police Assistant Pilibit to the position of Senior Police Assistant Chandawli, and Ayush Srivastava moved from the post of SP of Jaunpur city to SP of Unnao city. Rajesh Gunawat was transferred from Police Assistant Firozabad to the position of Deputy Director of Police in Varanasi. Ananta Chandrashekhar moved from the post of Senior Police Assistant Chandawli to the position of SP of Jaunpur city.
The list of transfers also included officers graduating in 2022, who were assigned new duties. Among them are Devesh Chaturvedi, Vivek Tiwari, Sumit Sudhakar Ramtek, Ariba Noman, Manoj Kumar Yadav, Ridjul, Gautam Rai, and Movis Tank. Their new posts are located in Ambedkar Nagar, Barabanki, Sambal, Kanpur Nagar, Agra, Ghaziabad, Bijaunor, and Sonbhad.
Furthermore, employees belonging to batches from 2016 to 2021 were transferred. These include Jitendra Kumar Srivastava, Kapil Dev Singh, Gyanandra Nat Prasad, Balwant Kumar Chaudhary, Abhay Nat Tripathi, Harendra Kumar, and Rajesh Kumar Pandya.
