Andranik Teimurian has concluded his work as an assistant to the Iranian national football team, ending his collaboration with head coach Amir Ghalenoei.

Andranik Teimurian left the Iranian national team coaching staff

Teimurian, who previously played for the Iranian national team and is an experienced midfielder, joined the 'Team Melli' coaching staff in April 2023. During his time with the national team, he assisted the coaching staff in preparing the squad for major international competitions and qualifying tournaments.

The official reason for Teimurian's departure has not yet been announced. His exit comes at an important time for Iran, as the national team recently began its first training camp ahead of the upcoming AFC Cup.

As part of this camp, Iran has scheduled two friendly matches against Uzbekistan and Russia. These games are intended to serve as valuable preparation while Ghalenoei continues to assess his squad and coaching personnel.

Teimurian's departure signals changes in Iran's coaching structure, although the national team has not yet announced the appointment of a replacement coach for him.
