At the graduation ceremony at IIT Roorkee, speaking to students, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval presented his forecast regarding India's GDP. He noted that the country is undergoing a period of significant transformation.
According to Doval, the current GDP stands at $4.015 trillion, but it has the potential to grow to $38 trillion over the next two decades. Speaking as the chief guest of the ceremony, he emphasized that the students are in a favorable moment, as their future promises to be very promising.
Doval also mentioned the period until 2047, which is called 'Amrit Kaal' (Golden Age), calling it truly magnificent. He reiterated that India's current GDP is $4.015 trillion, which could reach $38 trillion in two decades.
The security advisor advised students to be brave, citing Lord Rama as an example. He explained that the sage Vishwamitra chose Lord Rama to destroy the demons precisely because of his courageous nature.
In his speech, Doval shared a story from the early stages of his career. He recounted receiving three life principles for success from a local Sherpa while serving in Sikkim. The first principle is knowing one's current position on the map. The second is understanding the ultimate goal one needs to move towards. The third principle concerns knowing the path to achieve this goal and the way back.
