The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Association of Agricultural Producers of Uzbekistan and the 'Savdo va Servis' Association.
The document was signed by Saidvaly Nasredinov, chairman of the Association of Agricultural Producers, and Zafar Khoshimov, chairman of the 'Savdo va Servis' Association. The goal of this partnership is to strengthen the supply chain from farms to retail chains, hotels, and catering establishments.
The parties noted that modern buyers have high demands regarding quality, volume, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of products. In turn, producers require a stable market with reliable buyers.
To meet these needs, the concept of creating specialized hubs in various regions was discussed. Within this unified system, these centers will be responsible for sorting and quality assessment of products, their processing, packaging, preparation according to quality requirements, as well as supplying retailers and HoReCa enterprises.
As a result of implementing this system, the route from producer to end consumer will become more organized. The signed memorandum will serve as the basis for implementing new practical projects in this area.
