A video posted on social media shows an incident at Mahatma Gandhi School in the village of Moskut, located in the Deddiapada taluka, Narmada district, Gujarat state. The video captures students who suddenly began crying and jumping. This behavior by about eleven children caused confusion in the educational institution, leading to discussions about spiritual influence.
After one child started crying after classes ended, others followed. Soon, about eleven children were crying and jumping, clinging to teachers. Seeing the children's condition, the school administration immediately called emergency medical services 108. All the children were first taken to the Deddiapada government hospital and then transferred to the Rajpipala civil hospital.
It was also reported that the children were vomiting. Initially, there were suspicions of food poisoning, but after examination, doctors found no signs of diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain. As a precaution, the children underwent physical and psychological examinations.
The District Health Director of Narmada, Janak Madhok, stated that all the children are completely healthy and have no mental illnesses. According to him, children often imitate events happening around them, and such group behavior can manifest within a collective. He categorically stated that the children are not under any spiritual influence and are in full health.
