Jamol Makhsudov, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, and Jakhongir Rajabov, Executive Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, held a meeting in South Korea with Bernard Moon, co-founder of SparkLabs Inc., according to a message from the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
During this meeting, the parties discussed the preparation of an acceleration program designed to help Uzbek startups enter the South Korean market. The launch of this program is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.
Particular attention was paid to the startup selection process, the format of the acceleration program itself, and the possibilities for further cooperation between program participants and the South Korean venture ecosystem.
As part of the program, Uzbek startups will receive support for entering the South Korean market and expand opportunities to connect with potential investors and venture organizations, including TIPS, Mirae Asset, and other participants in the South Korean investment ecosystem.
Following the meeting, IT Park Uzbekistan and SparkLabs Inc. signed an agreement to implement the acceleration program for Uzbek startups in South Korea. This document provides for joint work on selecting and preparing promising technological projects, as well as supporting their entry into the South Korean market.
The parties also discussed prospects for further interaction within international technology events. In particular, Bernard Moon intends to participate in the ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 event.
The joint program with SparkLabs will allow Uzbek startups to gain international experience and mentorship, establish connections with participants in the South Korean venture ecosystem, and increase their chances of attracting investment and entering foreign markets.

The company specializes in supporting startups at the seed and early stages by providing investment, development acceleration, mentorship, and assistance in entering international markets.
