Abdulkhaziz Azizov, Director of the Uzbekistan Agency for the Development of Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, held a meeting with scientists and specialists from KOFIH, Yonsei University, and Korea IT Consulting (KITC), according to the agency.
Discussion on the Cluster
Participants discussed the emerging ecosystem of the innovative pharmaceutical cluster BioPharma City, as well as the possibilities of integrating science, education, research and development, technologies, and production processes into a single system.
Furthermore, the parties reviewed issues of practical application of scientific achievements, transfer of modern knowledge and technologies, training of qualified personnel, creation of innovative products, and localization of production.
Particular attention was paid to the opportunities to strengthen the link between science and production using the experience of the Republic of Korea, as well as the implementation of promising joint projects.
