A representative of the Ministry of Trade stated on Friday that China strongly opposes so-called voluntary export restrictions on hybrid vehicles to Europe.
According to the representative, such restrictions seriously violate the rules of the World Trade Organization and also contradict the principles of market economy and fair competition. These statements were made in response to media inquiries regarding this situation.
