McLaren São Paulo received the only unit of the 750S Le Mans model on Thursday (the 16th) that was designated for the Brazilian market. This car is special because it is not just a single unit; it carries license plate number 1 out of the 50 produced worldwide. Of this entire series, only two units were reserved for all of Latin America.
This series was unveiled in June 2025 and commemorates McLaren's 30th anniversary of winning the '24 Hours of Le Mans' race. This victory occurred on June 18, 1995, when the F1 GTR car number 59, driven by J.J. Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya, triumphed in the French race immediately after the British brand's debut in this competition. Three other F1 GTR cars also featured among the top five finishers.
This achievement allowed the company to complete the 'Triple Crown' of motorsport, which also includes victories at the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 and the Indianapolis 500 race.
The supercar retains a mid-rear mounted 4.0L V8 engine with twin-turbocharging, producing 750 horsepower and 81.6 kg of torque. The main differences lie in the aerodynamics and interior trim. The MSO High Downforce Kit, developed by McLaren Special Operations, includes a carbon fiber front splitter, an active and adjustable rear wing, flared fenders, and a lower panel made from the same material.
According to manufacturer information, this package increases aerodynamic downforce by 10% compared to the standard 750S model, contributing to improved stability when used on the track. The Brazilian unit was built in Cinza Le Mans color, one of the two available colors for this series, with glossy black accents and titanium exhaust tips. It is complemented by a roof-integrated air intake and LM five-spoke wheels with a central mounting, both elements being direct references to F1 LM, as well as gold brake calipers.
The interior combines black Alcantara Carbon with leather and McLaren Orange inserts. The 'Le Mans' lettering is embossed on the headrests and floor mats, and a special plaque indicates the car's position within the series. McLaren has not disclosed the price of this national specimen. For comparison, a new 750S coupe is priced at 4.6 million reais according to the Fipe table, and limited editions are usually sold for significantly more than the standard model.
The arrival of the car comes amid the manufacturer's preparations for its return to the main category of World Endurance. Starting in 2027, the brand will participate in the Hypercar category with an LMDh prototype on a Dallara chassis and a twin-turbocharged V6 engine, registered as McLaren United AS, in partnership with United Autosports, a team that already uses the 720S in the LMGT3 class.
