The approval of legislation that made the Move Brazil Taxi and Ride-Share program permanent boosted Leapmotor's strategy in the paid passenger transport sector. With the new benefits, the C10 REEV, called Ultra-Hybrid by the brand itself, will have an initial price of R$ 168,090 for taxi drivers and R$ 192,490 for qualified ride-share drivers. The B10 Electric will be offered for R$ 144,690 and R$ 170,190 under the same conditions.
Law 15.503/2026, sanctioned on Monday (14), removed the temporary nature of the program, which had been initiated through a provisional measure in May. This law maintains the limit of R$ 30 billion allocated for credit to modernize fleets for taxi drivers, ride-share drivers, delivery drivers, and school transport drivers.
Furthermore, one of the requirements for those working with ride-sharing apps was changed: the minimum activity time on the platform dropped from 12 months to just six months, provided that at least 100 trips are proven during this period.
Financing options allow installments of up to 84 months, with a grace period of up to six months for the principal payment, applicable to vehicles valued up to R$ 200 thousand. For Leapmotor, this financial operation is conducted by Banco Stellantis, which is an institution accredited by BNDES to serve the eligible public.
Compared to the official brand table, the C10 REEV is listed at R$ 219,990 and the B10 at R$ 182,990.
The C10 is the only model available in Brazil that incorporates REEV technology, which stands for extended-range electric vehicle. In this system, wheel movement is done solely by the electric motor, which has 215 hp and 32.6 kgfm, while the 1.5 gasoline engine functions only as a generator to recharge the 28.4 kWh battery. This ensures that the vehicle can operate in electric mode throughout the journey without depending on charging stations, a crucial point for those who travel long distances daily. The manufacturer states that the combined range reaches approximately 950 km with a full 50-liter tank.
This SUV was also designed with passenger comfort in mind in the back seat, featuring seats with different density foams and hypoallergenic upholstery certified by the OEKO-TEX standard, in addition to reclining rear seats and a panoramic sunroof exceeding 2.0 m², which can be operated by voice command.
The B10, being more affordable, operates with 100% electricity, equipped with a 218 hp and 24.5 kgfm motor, a 67.1 kWh battery, and a range of 288 km according to the INMETRO cycle, a more cautious figure than the 460 km recorded in the Chinese CLTC cycle. This model also represents the brand's entry into the Brazilian market and shares much of its technological package with the larger model.
Leapmotor began sales in Brazil at the end of 2025, through a joint venture established between the Chinese company and Stellantis, utilizing the group's dealership network to serve the professional public.
