Citroën has decided to maintain discounts offered to taxi drivers and ride-sharing drivers who choose to purchase the C3, Basalt, and Aircross vehicles through the Move Brasil Program. The largest possible discount reaches R$ 46,600 on the Aircross XTR 7 Turbo 200 AT model, whose price drops from R$ 156,490 to R$ 109,890; however, this maximum reduction is only valid for taxi drivers who have ICMS and IPI exemption. For the latter group, the decrease on the same model is set at R$ 23,440.
This announcement comes after the enactment of Law 15.503, dated September 14, which guaranteed the permanence of the program, previously created by provisional measure, eliminating the risk of its suspension. This legislation allows the Union to allocate resources of up to R$ 30 billion to cover financing.
With the implementation of this new law, the minimum required registration period for ride-sharing drivers was reduced from twelve to six months, provided the professional has completed a minimum of 100 trips on the same platform during that period. Taxi drivers, meanwhile, must keep their licenses and registrations valid with traffic authorities, in addition to proving fiscal regularity.
The maximum stipulated payment term is 84 months, with a grace period of up to six months before amortization begins, and the maximum limit for the financed vehicle remains at R$ 200 thousand. However, the specific proposal from Citroën presents a shorter term, totaling 72 installments.
For taxi drivers with ICMS and IPI exemption, the C3 Live Go starts at R$ 66,199, compared to R$ 88,990 in the standard table. Other models include the C3 YOU! Turbo 200 AT for R$ 88,390 and the Basalt Feel Turbo 200 AT for R$ 91,190. The Basalt Dark Edition Turbo 200 AT costs R$ 99,990, and the Aircross XTR 7 Turbo 200 AT is available for R$ 109,890.
For taxi drivers without exemption and ride-sharing drivers, the vehicles can be financed for up to 72 times, without a down payment and with an interest rate of 0.99% per month—this is the same maximum rate defined by the program for male clients; for female clients, the limit is 0.91%.
In this category, the C3 Live Go starts at R$ 74,790, with a monthly installment starting from R$ 1,600. The Basalt Feel starts at R$ 109,790 (with monthly installments of R$ 2,270), and the Aircross XTR 7 is available for R$ 133,050 (monthly installments of R$ 2,730).
