The Regional Council of People's Deputies of Tashkent has approved new tariffs for water supply and sewage services, which will take effect from October 1st, the college reported.
Details of the tariff increase
According to the approved document, the cost of one cubic meter of water for private individuals (excluding VAT) will be 3,100 soms, up from the previous 2,600 soms. The tariff for sewage services for this category of consumers will increase from 1,300 to 1,500 soms.
For commercial organizations and budget-funded institutions, the price per cubic meter of water will rise from 15,000 to 16,000 soms. Meanwhile, the sewage tariff for such consumers will increase from 3,000 to 4,000 soms.
Previously, there was a tariff increase for cold water and sewage in Tashkent region last summer. At that time, tariffs for households were increased by 30%, and rates for budgetary organizations by 60%.
