A new procedure has been approved for citizens who have become victims of fraud and whose online loans were taken out in their name using phishing. According to the new rule, such loans will now be classified by the bank as a 'non-performing asset'.
In the event of such an arrangement, the bank is obliged to form a reserve equal to one hundred percent of the loan amount. Furthermore, the collection process for both the loan itself and all related payments is terminated regarding the affected client.
