On September 17, an Uzbek citizen and her three children were brought from Turkey to Uzbekistan with the assistance of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
The family found itself in a difficult situation after the woman, who had gone to Turkey for work, was left without housing and necessary assistance along with her children. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
After receiving the appeal, the Consulate General, together with the Migration Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, provided practical support to the family. The woman and her children were provided with food supplies, helped to process the necessary documents, and air tickets were purchased for their return to Uzbekistan.
At the airport, the woman expressed gratitude to the President for his attention to the situation of women and children who find themselves in difficult circumstances abroad, as well as for the initiatives aimed at helping them return home. She also thanked the employees of the Migration Service and the Consulate General for the assistance provided.
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul stated that it will continue to provide consular, legal, and practical assistance to Uzbek citizens facing difficult circumstances abroad, in accordance with current legislation.
