Mirziyoyev inspected gas block production in Nukus

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the production processes of the company Coals KS in the city of Nukus, where gas blocks and lime are manufactured.

According to a message from the press service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the total cost of the project is 16.3 million US dollars. The gas block production is located on a plot of 4.8 hectares in the Nukus Free Economic Zone, while the lime production facilities are located on a plot of the same size in the Karauziak area.

The annual production capacity of the enterprise reaches 300,000 cubic meters of gas blocks and 165,000 tons of lime. These products are intended for the domestic market, and their export to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan is also planned.

Approximately 96% of the raw materials used at the enterprise come from local resources. Quartz sand, cement, and gypsum are supplied by domestic enterprises, which helps reduce production costs and guarantees the stability of raw material supply.

Gas blocks are characterized by their lightness and possess thermal and sound insulation properties. According to the enterprise, they are three to four times lighter than traditional bricks, which helps reduce construction costs.

Currently, the company employs 200 local residents. In total, the enterprise has implemented five major projects worth 200 million US dollars, and four other projects worth 40 million US dollars are under construction.

The head of state inspected the production lines and finished products, listened to information about the company's development plans, and spoke with employees. Special attention was paid to maintaining high product quality while reducing costs, expanding production and export capabilities, and regularly improving staff qualifications. Relevant instructions and recommendations were given to the management and responsible officials of the enterprise.
