An official and business delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic, led by the Minister of Economy and Industry Muhammad Nidal Ash-Shaar, has arrived in Tashkent.
According to a source, the delegation includes representatives from state institutions, chambers of commerce, and industry, as well as more than twenty large Syrian companies. The Syrian side is represented by high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, trade chamber federations, and enterprises operating in various sectors.
In particular, the delegation includes representatives of firms engaged in light industry, textiles, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, construction material production, and energy. Official meetings and B2B negotiations are planned as part of the visit.
Syrian businessmen also plan to visit major industrial and textile enterprises in Uzbekistan. The main objectives of the visit include expanding trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, developing industrial interaction, and launching new commercial projects.
