In the men's football competition at the XX Asian Games, held in Japan, the Uzbekistan U-23 national team participated in the second round of Group C against the Kuwait national team.
Thanks to this match, the Uzbekistan team managed to advance to the tournament quarterfinals.
The national futsal team of Uzbekistan won against the Hungarian team in the first friendly match. The game took place at the "Aramis" sports complex, located near the city of Budapest.
