According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan, during the period from January to August 2026, 5.3 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes.
This figure exceeded the same period in 2025 by 109,900 people. The largest number of trips by Uzbek citizens was directed to the Kyrgyz Republic, where 2,427,526 people went.
Kazakhstan ranked second in terms of visitors with 955,829 guests, and Tajikistan was third, having received 876,650 citizens of Uzbekistan.
The top ten most popular destinations also included Russia with 257,567 tourists, Turkey with 212,265 people, Saudi Arabia with 184,155 visitors, the UAE with 56,910, China with 52,043, Egypt with 39,599, and Vietnam with 33,439.
Thus, the largest volume of tourist trips by Uzbek citizens from January to August was made to neighboring Central Asian countries.
