The Tashkent city administration announced that Tashkent schools are beginning to use the digital attendance control system SI Davomat. This system automatically records student presence using intelligent cameras and facial recognition technology (Face ID).
Issues related to attendance monitoring and timely identification of missed classes were discussed at a meeting in the capital's administration situation center. Participants were shown how the new system works, and the results of its testing in the Sergely district were presented.
Currently, SI Davomat is being tested in 26 schools in this district, where 446 smart cameras have been installed. If a student misses classes without a valid reason, an SMS notification is automatically sent to the parents. Additionally, the information is sent to the school principal, the preventive inspector, a National Guard employee, and mahalla representatives.
The system is integrated with the ERP Maktab platform and the Ministry of Health's DMED system. This integration makes it possible to distinguish between students absent due to illness and those who missed classes without a valid reason.
Based on attendance data, schools will be classified into 'green', 'yellow', and 'red' categories depending on relevant indicators. After the experiment in the Sergely district, phased implementation of SI Davomat in other general education schools in Tashkent is planned.
