The total amount received from the privatization of Humo and the state's stake in SamAuto, amounting to 145 million US dollars, has been fully transferred to the state budget of Uzbekistan.
Alisher Miraliev, Deputy Director of the Agency for Management of State Assets (AUGA), reported this in an interview with Spot on September 17 during the VIII International Conference on Bonds 'Uzbekistan Republic Capital Market.'
According to Miraliev, the funds from the sale of SamAuto were received by the budget back in December 2025. At that time, the automotive group of the Turkish company Anadolu Isuzu acquired 75.2% of the state stake in SamAuto for 80 million US dollars.
In addition to the transaction amount, the investor committed to allocating an additional 80 million US dollars for the further development of the auto plant. Miraliev noted: 'For SamAuto, the funds were fully transferred to the budget last December.'
At the end of December 2024, AUGA sold 100% of the shares of the National Interbank Processing Center (NIPC), the operator of the Humo payment system, to the Paynet payment service for 65 million US dollars, equivalent to 840.3 billion soms.
The Deputy Director of AUGA also specified that the revenue from this transaction was also fully transferred to the state budget.
