On September 17-18, 37 people were admitted to the Uchkuprik district of the Fergana region seeking medical assistance after consuming hot dogs and burgers at a fast-food establishment.
Patients complained of symptoms such as weakness, nausea, and diarrhea. Of the total number of affected individuals, 31 were taken to the hospital.
The Committee for Food Safety of Uzbekistan informed about this situation. An epidemiological investigation is currently underway, and the activities of this dining establishment have been temporarily suspended.
Specialists have already collected samples of food products for laboratory analysis.
