Forecasters predict warm weather in Uzbekistan for the weekend, with temperatures up to 37 degrees

According to forecasters, the upcoming weekend in Uzbekistan will be predominantly warm and partly cloudy. Daytime temperatures will reach 34 degrees, and in the southern and desert areas, they may rise to 37 degrees.

However, on September 20, some regions are expected to see a slight drop in temperature. According to meteorologists, no significant changes in weather conditions are anticipated during September 18 and 19. Nighttime temperatures will be 17–20 degrees, and daytime air will warm up to 31–34 degrees. In the south and desert areas, temperatures are expected to rise to 35–37 degrees, exceeding the climatic norm for the second half of September by 2–4 degrees.

On Sunday, September 20, the sky over most of the country will become more overcast, and the daytime temperature will decrease by approximately 2–3 degrees. Short-term precipitation may occur exclusively in the mountainous regions of Namangan and Fergana regions.

Increased wind activity up to 13–18 meters per second and the possibility of dust storms are forecast in the desert and mountainous parts of the territory.

In the capital, Tashkent, small or variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected from September 18 to 20. At night, temperatures in Tashkent will fluctuate between 18–20 degrees. On September 18 and 19, the daytime temperature will reach 32–34 degrees, and on September 20, it will be 30–32 degrees. The prevailing wind direction will be easterly, with speeds from 3 to 8 meters per second.

According to forecasts, warm and mostly dry weather will persist across the entire territory of Uzbekistan during the upcoming week, from September 14 to 17. The temperature regime will correspond to the average indicators for the middle of the month.

According to Uzhydromet, no precipitation is predicted for most of the country. However, on Wednesday, September 16, there is a possibility of short-term rain with thunderstorms in some parts of the Fergana Valley.

Nighttime air temperatures are expected to be within 13–18 degrees, and daytime temperatures from 28 to 33 degrees; in the south of the republic, warmth may reach 35–37 degrees. The average wind speed will be 7–12 m/s.

On Wednesday, September 16, increased winds up to 13–18 meters per second are predicted in some places across the republic, which may be accompanied by dust storms. Short-term rains are possible in the mountain regions during the period from September 14 to 17.

Weather in Tashkent

In the capital, Tashkent, partly cloudy weather without precipitation is expected from September 14 to 17. Nighttime temperatures will be 15–18 degrees, and the daytime temperature will reach 30–33 degrees. The wind in Tashkent will blow from the east at a speed of 3–8 meters per second.
