S7 Airlines has resumed direct air flights between Moscow and Urgench starting September 15. The airline announced this, noting that it continues to restore its route plan in Uzbekistan's cities.
Direct air communication between the two cities was restarted on September 15. Flights will operate twice a week on Airbus A320 aircraft, with a flight duration of about three and a half hours.
Schedule and Routes
Departures from Moscow are scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays at 22:20, arriving in Urgench at 03:50 the following day. Return flights from Urgench depart on Wednesdays and Sundays at 05:05, arriving in Moscow at 06:50.
The airline emphasized that the resumption of direct service from Moscow will restore convenient air connectivity with an important tourist and cultural region of Uzbekistan.
