The Ministry of Health of the Union appealed to the states and territories of the Union with a demand to take measures against the unauthorized use of stem cell therapy. The Ministry emphasized that this treatment can be provided as a standard method of treatment only for diseases or indications approved by the ministry itself.
It was noted that conducting, prescribing, promoting, or advertising stem cell therapy outside of approved indications will be considered a professional violation of ethical norms.
