The Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement held a meeting on September 15 with a delegation from the Chinese company Jiangsu Yiershan Group (JYG). The delegation was headed by the company's head, Liu Delian.
Jiangsu Yiershan Group is a manufacturing group from Jiangsu province specializing in the production of textile products and ready-made clothing. Additionally, its subsidiaries are involved in the production of electrical equipment. Currently, the company is considering the implementation of several production projects in Uzbekistan.
Discussion of Project Details
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail issues related to national certification of products planned for production under the company's future projects in Uzbekistan. The acquisition of conformity certificates and the determination of the level of production localization were also discussed.
Participants exchanged views on involving local enterprises in joint activities, utilizing domestic production capacities for manufacturing necessary components and products, and establishing mutually beneficial industrial cooperation.
The Chinese delegation received necessary clarifications regarding certification and localization processes. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to move the discussed projects to the practical stage and develop directions for cooperation with local enterprises.
