A delegation from Uzbekistan held a meeting with the management of the South Korean technology company PROTOTIE Co., Ltd. in Seoul. The goal of the negotiations was to discuss ways to promote Uzbek IT solutions in global markets, as well as to provide support to local technology firms when entering foreign arenas. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was headed by Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Jamol Maksudov. Jahongir Rajabov, Executive Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, and other representatives of this organization also participated in the delegation. The side of PROTOTIE was represented by CEO Park Seung-hyun.
Areas of Cooperation
Participants discussed the potential for joint work to promote Uzbekistan's digital solutions in the markets of the Republic of Korea and Malaysia. Furthermore, they reviewed issues of supporting companies registered in IT Park Uzbekistan when entering international markets, developing B2B and IT outsourcing ties, and attracting qualified specialists.
PROTOTIE specializes in personnel selection solutions using artificial intelligence, IT outsourcing, talent management, and assisting companies in entering foreign markets. The company develops the PROTIE AI platform, which matches enterprises with specialists based on their professional experience, qualifications, and other criteria.
Since January 2026, PROTOTIE has been a resident of IT Park Uzbekistan and has a representative office in Uzbekistan. One of the company's areas of activity is promoting local digital products in external markets.
Specific Projects and Support
In particular, PROTOTIE cooperates with UZINFOCOM, promoting the MyID Face and MyID Palm solutions in Korea and Malaysia. These solutions include biometric identification and palm payment technologies, as well as AI-based video analytics systems, queue management, the Muxlisa AI voice assistant, the DMED digital healthcare platform, and smart city monitoring solutions.
At the meeting, opportunities were studied to expand this activity and promote the developments of other residents of IT Park Uzbekistan through PROTOTIE's network of local partners, business development tools, and direct contacts with potential clients. The parties separately discussed support for Uzbek technology companies aiming to enter the Korean and Malaysian markets, including conducting market research, product localization, client and partner search, and assistance in negotiations.
Participants also considered launching pilot projects and Proof of Concept programs for UZINFOCOM's solutions in partnership with financial institutions, retail and medical companies, government bodies, and other potential customers in Korea and Malaysia.
Additionally, cooperation in the field of IT outsourcing, specialist search and recruitment, and AI-based professional training involving IT specialists from Uzbekistan was discussed. Possible formats of interaction included business missions, demonstration days, webinars, and seminars.
Following the meeting, the parties defined directions for further cooperation, including the promotion of IT products in international markets, support for the export activities of IT Park Uzbekistan residents, the development of B2B cooperation, and the implementation of joint pilot projects.
