On September 15, Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Dietrich N. John, a representative of the World Economic Forum. This was reported by the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed opportunities to strengthen Uzbekistan's presence on the platforms of the World Economic Forum. Special attention was paid to promoting the reforms being implemented in the country, as well as investment opportunities and promising economic initiatives among leading international companies and financial institutions.
The necessity of increasing the participation of Uzbek companies in Forum events, as well as developing direct ties with global business leaders, investors, and strategic partners, was emphasized. Both sides confirmed their readiness to utilize the opportunities provided by the World Economic Forum to strengthen Uzbekistan's position in the global economic agenda and expand interaction with the international business community.
