Another seven minors who were left without parental care in Russia have been returned to Uzbekistan. Among these children, three were handed over to representatives of Uzbekistan by mothers currently incarcerated.

The new group of children arrived in Uzbekistan on September 15. The return was organized by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the National Agency for Social Protection with the support of Uzbek consulates in Russia and the children's ombudsman.
This is the third group returned as part of an official trip for the repatriation of minors from Russia. The total number of children returned during their work in Russia has reached 30, plus two more were returned from Kazakhstan.
Upon arrival, specialists begin further placement of the children, primarily aiming to return them to their biological families. If such a return is not possible, alternative living arrangements are sought. The children receive comprehensive support, including medical, psychological, and social assistance.
The condition of the children is monitored by 'Inson' centers, and specialists provide support to both the children and their families, helping them adapt to the new environment.
The repatriation work continues: a trip to Georgia is planned to repatriate one child, and negotiations are underway with Turkey regarding the return of minors. Previously, diplomatic missions had already facilitated the return of children from Russian orphanages to Uzbekistan.
