Uttar Pradesh Government Provides Free Education Under Mahamantriyam Abhyuday Program for UPSC and NEET Exam Preparation

The Mahamantriyam Abhyuday program is an initiative of the Uttar Pradesh government that provides free education and academic guidance to students preparing for entrance exams. This program was launched in February 2021.

Initially, learning centers were opened in district headquarters, and students were also provided with the opportunity to prepare through online classes. The program offers courses for various competitive exams, including UPSC, UPPSC, JEE (Main), NEET, NDA, and CDS. Students receive support both in classroom and online formats, with teaching and guidance provided by subject matter experts and experienced civil servants.

According to the official Abhyuday portal, this program operates in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The portal supports over 2000 teachers and subject matter experts. According to the portal, more than 400 students participating in the program have successfully cleared selections for various positions, including 23 students in UPSC in 2023, 30 in UPPSC in 2023, and 35 in JEE Main in 2024.

The 2026–27 session began on July 1, 2026, during which lecture plans and schedules were provided for preparation for exams such as Civil Services, JEE (Main), NEET, and NDA/CDS. Students can apply through the official Abhyuday portal by providing information about their academic qualifications, district, and preferred curriculum. Overall, the goal of the Mahamantriyam Abhyuday program is to make structured preparation for competitive exams more accessible to students in Uttar Pradesh by offering free education and mentorship to eligible candidates.
