German archaeologists reported the discovery of an ancient hoard in Thuringia. During work conducted in one of the regions, where a new fire station is being built on the site of a former stadium, specialists surveyed the ground.

During these operations, a team of specialists led by Ronny Krause found eleven silver coins. These coins date back to the 1st century BC and belong to the Celts who inhabited this territory during the peak of the Roman state in Europe.

Information about this find was published on the official portal of the Office for the Protection of Monuments and Archaeology of the Free State of Thuringia.

The famous headwear, the Baysun tubeleyka, has received official geographical indication status. Thanks to this, the name and all unique characteristics of this traditional garment made in Surkhandarya are now legally protected.

Obtaining this status legally ties the name of the tubeleyka to a specific locality—the Baysun district. This will ensure the preservation of traditional methods of making the item and its specific features.

Furthermore, the new status forms a legal basis for actively promoting products from Baysun both domestically and internationally. It also contributes to the preservation of local crafts and production process specifics.

The Baysun tubeleyka is a national headwear traditionally created in the Baysun region. It is decorated using embroidery performed in the piltadozi technique. A distinctive feature of the tubeleyka is the combination of rich colors, geometric patterns, and authentic sewing methods. Its ornaments use motifs such as chilhol, chaengul, kochkorshohi, archa, and kuzacha.

Previously, the country approved a marking system for goods indicating their place of origin.
