During his working trip to South Korea, Abdullo Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, met with the management of one of South Korea's leading pharmaceutical producers specializing in oral medications. This was reported by the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry.
The parties held discussions aimed at developing Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry, implementing modern production technologies, and utilizing Korea's advanced experience in the local sector.
Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of localizing pharmaceutical products, implementing joint investment projects, creating production capacities, and exporting goods to regional markets.
Abdullo Azizov presented the company representatives with information about the favorable conditions available in Uzbekistan for foreign investors, as well as about the BioPharma City pharmaceutical cluster project and the opportunities to launch production projects from 'zero to finished product'.
