A delegation from the Fergana region, led by Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, held a business meeting with representatives of the business community from the South Korean metropolis of Ulsan. The regional administration reported that the parties discussed proposals for implementing joint projects in the Fergana region.
The discussed initiatives covered sectors such as industry, light industry, cosmetics production, services, and professional training. Special attention was paid to cooperation with KOLPING CO., LTD, which specializes in the production of modern clothing and equipment for sports, tourism, and active recreation. This company expressed interest in establishing a relevant partnership in the Fergana region.
Representatives from Ulsan Pipe Cleaning, Carpos, and HANKEI HOLDINGS also presented project proposals in the fields of industrial production, cosmetics manufacturing, and other areas. Participants discussed the possibilities of implementing these projects in Fergana, establishing ties with local entrepreneurs, and organizing production processes.
Significant attention was given to human capital development. It was proposed to create a center in the Fergana region for training people in modern professions, organize vocational training for youth in the Korean language and in in-demand specialties, and promote the employment of qualified specialists in the Republic of Korea.
Khayrullo Bozorov supported the presented initiatives and invited South Korean entrepreneurs to visit Fergana. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop specific parameters for each project, identify local partners, and begin the practical implementation of the agreements reached.
