Wang Jun Se, chairman of the Chinese Democratic Party, posted on the social media platform X, stating that Chinese President Xi Jinping lost consciousness during the BRICS summit in New Delhi and was flown to China on a special flight for medical treatment.
Se claimed that after receiving emergency care from an accompanying medical team, Xi prematurely ended his stay in India and returned to China by private jet. According to his post, upon arrival at Beijing airport, authorities did not organize a large official reception or welcoming ceremony.
Instead, 'a military helicopter was used for the direct transport of Xi Jinping to Beijing Hospital 301 for emergency treatment.' Se further reported that an expert group at Beijing Hospital 301 diagnosed Xi with 'severe ischemic stroke, i.e., transient cerebral infarction.'
The post also mentioned that Xi 'feared that the Indian side might obtain information about his health,' so he 'declined emergency care at the Indian hospital' before returning to Beijing for treatment. According to Se, 'during the flight, as there were no conditions for surgery, the medical team could only provide conservative life support for Xi Jinping.'
He added that Xi 'missed the golden window for emergency care and surgery' and speculated that even if Xi undergoes surgery at Beijing Hospital 301, 'there is a high probability of severe complications.' He also stated that 'Beijing authorities still cannot confirm whether Xi Jinping will be able to recover his health before his trip to the United States,' noting that officials are awaiting a decision on whether to cancel Xi's planned trip to the US at the end of September.

The BRICS summit took place in India on September 12–13 and was attended by leaders of 11 member countries and 10 partner countries, as well as representatives of international organizations. During the summit, Xi held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which he presented Beijing's proposals for closer cooperation between Global South nations.
