American scientists have published preliminary results from data analysis obtained during pilot clinical trials on the use of fecal transplantation. The study was aimed at treating diarrhea and colitis that occur following the use of immunotherapy for oncological diseases using checkpoint inhibitors.
According to the presented data, clinical improvement was observed in ten out of thirteen participants in the study. The results of this scientific project were officially published in the journal Cell Reports Medicine.
