Cadillac launches operation in Brazil with two electric SUVs, Lyriq and Vistiq

Cadillac has officially started its commercial activities in Brazil, marking the first South American market to receive this new phase of the brand's international expansion. The launch is carried out through the pre-sale of two electric SUVs, the Lyriq and the Vistiq, both imported and available in their most sophisticated versions.

The initial catalog will also include the Optiq model, which, according to the company, is in the final stage of homologation. All three vehicles are equipped from the factory with native connectivity, OnStar system, 5G connection, and Google integration with Gemini.

The first experience centers will start operating in November, located in São Paulo (Eurobike), Curitiba (Metrosul), and Brasília (Tecar). This same period is scheduled for the first deliveries. The initial inauguration will coincide with the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix, a moment when the Cadillac team will also debut on a national circuit.

The Lyriq, considered Cadillac's most successful electric car globally, arrives in the Signature Luxury version. It features a vertical LED signature, recessed door handles, and 22-inch wheels. With two electric motors and all-wheel drive, it generates 500 hp and can reach 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.

Its 95.7 kWh battery offers a range of up to 405 km in the Inmetro PBEV cycle and supports fast charging of 132 kW in DC current, completing from 20% to 80% in approximately 40 minutes. The total luggage space totals 793 liters, which can reach 1,721 liters with the seats folded down.

Internally, the vehicle features a 33-inch curved panel with 9K resolution, an AKG audio system with 19 speakers and Dolby Atmos, in addition to front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, a retractable panoramic roof, a head-up display, and ambient lighting with 126 color options.

The Vistiq, aimed at families, accommodates six passengers distributed in three rows of individual seats (2+2+2 configuration), with electric folding in both the second and third rows. The Vistiq's two motors sum up to 604 hp, generating 36.8 kgfm on the front axle and 55.4 kgfm on the rear, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.

This SUV uses the same 95.7 kWh battery, which provides up to 395 km in the PBEV cycle. It is equipped with four-wheel air suspension with continuous damping, four-wheel steering, five-zone climate control, premium animal-free finish, and a trunk with variable capacity between 430 and 1,217 liters.

The list of Vistiq technologies includes AKG audio with 23 speakers, augmented reality head-up display, infrared night vision, drowsiness sensor, rear pedestrian detection, automatic reverse braking, and active road noise cancellation.
