Uzbekhydroenergo delegation studied hydropower experience in Korea

A delegation from Uzbekhydroenergo visited Korea to study the experience in the field of hydropower. Over the past decade, the country has implemented successive reforms in the hydropower sector and realized large investment projects using modern technologies.

As a result of these efforts, the number of hydroelectric power plants increased from 36 to 106, and the total capacity of the hydropower sector reached 2.5 GW.
