WB Taxi provided comments regarding the inspection conducted by the Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan, which was initiated following complaints from consumers. WB Taxi emphasized that the company's priorities are passenger safety and comfort, as well as monitoring compliance with legal requirements by all services.
According to the company's statement, it requires partners of taxi fleets connected to the platform to adhere to the law. WB Taxi maintains constant contact with state bodies of Uzbekistan. Upon receiving information about violations by partners, the company promptly takes measures to eliminate them and resolve issues.
Every incoming request is processed within the timeframes established by law. The company explained that every report of low service quality, whether submitted by users or regulatory bodies, is reviewed individually. If a violation is suspected, the driver's account is blocked during the investigation; if the information is confirmed, the driver is assigned a permanent ban.
Even if a violation is not confirmed, the company cooperates with the driver to prevent similar situations in the future, and information about the incident is passed on to the taxi fleet with which the driver works. WB Taxi noted that its service remains one of the few aggregators that does not allow drivers without valid identification documents to work. The company guarantees the presence and verification of all permits required by law for passenger transport.
According to WB Taxi, this allows the service to control and continuously improve the quality of services provided. From January to September 2026, the share of users dissatisfied with the quality of service did not exceed one-thousandth of a percent.
It was previously reported that the Antimonopoly Committee was inspecting WB Taxi. In the first eight months of the current year, the agency registered about 20 complaints and social media posts concerning the aggregator's activities. Complaints indicated that WB Taxi vehicles did not always arrive at the specified address, as well as the absence of a feedback function in the service for communicating with drivers. The Committee also identified insufficient compliance with the laws 'On Consumer Rights Protection' and 'On E-commerce' and sent a corresponding request to WB Taxi.
