In the match, which took place at the Aichi International Arena in Nagoya, Mohammad Jamshidi scored 20 points for Iran, while Mostafa Rashed provided 26 points for Bahrain.
On Friday, Iran will face South Korea in the fight for a spot in the final of the men's basketball tournament at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya.
The men's 5-on-5 basketball tournament at the 2026 Asian Games is being held in Kita-ku, Aichi Prefecture, Nagoya, Japan, from September 10 to 20.
