ROX Group is studying the implementation of large investment projects in Uzbekistan: Bukhara, Samarkand, Jizzakh

The Vietnamese company ROX Group is considering the possibility of implementing large-scale investment projects in several regions of Uzbekistan. This initiative became known on September 11th after a meeting between ROX Group founder Anh Tuan Chan and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In the Bukhara region, ROX Group presented a project that involves the construction of significant facilities on an area exceeding 85 hectares. Investments in this project are estimated to exceed 2 billion dollars. According to information provided by the Hokim of the Bukhara region, Botir Zaripov, to the 'Uzbekistan 24' channel, these funds are planned to be used for building modern residential real estate, schools, parks, and other necessary infrastructure.

Botir Zaripov specified that the realization of these facilities could potentially create between 5,000 and 6,000 new jobs and improve housing conditions for more than 50,000 residents of the region. Following the meeting, the President instructed the development of a detailed roadmap for carrying out this project.

In the Samarkand region, ROX Group presented a concept for the integrated development of an area located near an existing tourist complex. The Hokim of the Samarkand region, Adiz Boboev, reported that the project includes the construction of additional hotel buildings, service facilities, residential premises, and other infrastructure oriented towards tourists.

According to Adiz Boboev, the President instructed the company and local authorities to promptly prepare proposals, develop appropriate solutions, and submit them to the Presidential Administration. The goal of this complex is to increase the region's tourism potential and extend the length of guests' stays in Samarkand.

Representatives of ROX Group expect a visit to the Jizzakh region, as the region has offered the company several investment initiatives. The Deputy Hokim of the Jizzakh region, Bahrom Yusupov, reported that in the Arnasay district, the investor is intended to be offered the construction of a five-star hotel near the lake. Additionally, another hotel project is being considered in the Zaamin district, as well as the creation of an industrial zone covering about 600 hectares, which will be implemented based on industrial mortgage with the participation of international investors.

Bahrom Yusupov also mentioned that the Jizzakh region has put forward projects related to the construction of new housing and the development of industrial zones. Furthermore, a major project worth approximately 1.5 billion dollars is being considered in the Uchtepinsky district of Tashkent. On an area of 37 hectares, the construction of business and entertainment centers, housing, and new infrastructure is planned. The company is interested in developing the real estate, energy, and financial services sectors in the country.
