Some residents of the Supertech Supernova complex, located in Sector 94 Noida, have filed a complaint regarding water quality. Residents claim that sometimes dirty and foul-smelling water, as well as small insects, enter the water supply.
Approximately 350 families reside in the complex. According to residents, the problem with dirty water does not occur constantly but periodically and suddenly. Some residents expressed concern about the water quality, while others stated that they are facing difficulties due to this issue. Following the complaint, the 'Aaj Tak' team visited the complex to check the situation.
During the inspection, it was found that the water supply in the complex's bathroom was clean. However, some present residents reported that the dirty water does not arrive daily; they claimed that problems with black, foul-smelling water or the appearance of small insects occasionally arise. One tenant living in the complex recorded a video of such dirty water condition, which went viral on social media. It is reported that this tenant moved to Delhi, but people associated with AOA claim she left due to a parking dispute.
Representatives of the Supertech Supernova Association (AOA) stated that the developer had not paid the Ganga Jal water bill for the last two years. They emphasized that the Association is making efforts to resolve the water problem. One resident, Asad, reported that he has lived in the complex for the last two or three years, and that water problems occurred previously. He also stated that some people left the complex due to complaints about dirty water and faced health problems because of the water quality.
In light of the water quality complaints, AOA promised to find a solution soon. Nevertheless, residents insist on the need for regular water quality checks in the complex to ensure a permanent solution to the episodically appearing dirty water. Currently, the 'Aaj Tak' team's inspection showed clean water on site, despite some residents' complaints about the periodic appearance of dirty water.
