The first step is to purchase high-quality seeds. Initially, you can use small pots or seed trays. The seeds should be placed in the soil at a depth of about 1–2 centimeters and lightly watered. With proper care, small sprouts will begin to appear in 7–10 days.
The soil composition is critical for the sweet pepper plant. You should use light and loose soil that ensures good water drainage. Adding organic fertilizers or vermicompost will enrich the soil with the necessary nutrients for red and yellow sweet peppers. The most important condition is to prevent waterlogging in the pot, as this leads to root rot.
