Microsoft has announced a new event focused on Windows and Surface devices, scheduled for October 7th at 2 PM Brasília time, in San Francisco, United States. This will be the corporation's first major gathering dedicated to these two platforms in over two years.
The central theme of this event will be the discussion on how locally executed artificial intelligence (AI) will define the next stage of computers. The main idea is to highlight AI running directly on the devices themselves as one of the most important points of the agenda.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella confirmed his participation, accompanied by Pavan Davuluri, who is responsible for the Windows and Surface divisions. Additionally, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was also confirmed as a guest.
Jensen Huang's presence suggests that computers equipped with RTX Spark technology may play a relevant role in presenting the future of the platforms.
