The head of Iranian diplomacy refuted the notion that Iran is 'defenseless' in response to data published by the United States Department of Defense on Monday. This data confirmed the death of 18 military personnel and injuries to over 400 people, as well as the destruction or damage of dozens of aircraft and hundreds of buildings at American bases.
The Iranian minister assured that Tehran will provide full information on the consequences of attacks on North American positions in due course. He added that 'those who spread lies about Iran will not have an easy time.'
These statements came after the Pentagon oversight body released the first report on losses incurred during the North American 'Epic Fury' operation, which began in late February. The 44-page document points to 'strategic deficiencies' in ammunition stocks and estimates the cost of the war at nearly 29 billion euros, excluding expenses recorded since June 29.
